1. Editorial and Publication Ethics Policy

Granja Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in academic publishing. We follow the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expect all parties involved — authors, reviewers, and editors — to uphold these values.

Key ethical principles include:

  • Honesty in reporting and data presentation
  • Transparency in conflicts of interest
  • Fair and unbiased peer review
  • Responsible authorship and contributor recognition

2. Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Granja Journal undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which:

  • Author and reviewer identities are concealed
  • Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers
  • Decisions are made based on the quality, originality, and relevance of the work

The editorial team ensures the process is objective, confidential, and free from conflict of interest.

3. Plagiarism Policy

Granja Journal maintains a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism.
All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection tools prior to review.

Authors are expected to:

  • Submit original work only
  • Properly cite and reference all sources
  • Avoid any form of text recycling, self-plagiarism, or data manipulation

Detected plagiarism will result in immediate rejection or article retraction if discovered post-publication.

4. Open Access Policy

Granja Journal follows a fully open-access model, allowing:

  • Free and unlimited access to all published content
  • Authors to retain copyright
  • Articles to be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0)

This ensures the widest possible visibility and reusability of research.

5. Copyright Policy

Authors retain full copyright of their articles and grant Granja Journal a non-exclusive right to publish.

All articles are licensed under:

Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License

Users are free to copy, distribute, and adapt the material, provided proper attribution is given to the original authors and source.

6. Article Withdrawal & Retraction Policy

🔹 Withdrawal (Pre-publication)

Authors may request withdrawal before final acceptance. A valid reason must be provided in writing.

🔹 Retraction (Post-publication)

An article may be retracted if:

  • Plagiarism or unethical practices are identified
  • Serious errors affect the reliability of the findings
  • Copyright or legal violations are discovered

Retraction notices will be published online and linked to the original article.

7. Conflict of Interest Policy

Authors, reviewers, and editors must declare any potential conflicts of interest, including:

  • Financial interests
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Personal relationships that may influence judgment

Disclosure ensures the integrity and impartiality of the publication process.

8. Authorship Policy

Only individuals who have:

  • Made substantial contributions to the research
  • Participated in drafting or revising the manuscript
  • Approved the final version
  • Agreed to be accountable for the content

…should be listed as authors. Changes to authorship after submission require written consent from all listed authors.
